We collect information from you directly when you provide it to us in the course of a transaction between you and Castle Glen Winery or when you otherwise volunteer information to us. This includes purchasing products online, purchasing products in person, scheduling tours of our winery, or visiting us. The information we collect this way includes:

- Addresses and information you provide us relating to gifts, including birthdays and other pertinent information supplied by you

- Your account information, if you choose to create an account

- Dates of any visits to one of our wineries
- Tasting preferences
- Your order or purchase history
- Loyalty points
- Social media profile and related information when you interact with us on an outside social media website.
We use this information to process your transaction, to confirm that you are of legal drinking age, send you promotional messages about products or services we think you might like, improve our website, product offerings and services, facilitate your visit to our wineries, understand your preferences, and to improve our overall relationship with you. We may use this information, also, for other legitimate business purposes, including maintaining records on your transaction for tax and compliance purposes, or, keeping records of potentially qualified job applicants.

Job Applicant Information
If you apply for a position through one of our job postings, we collect information you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, physical address, email address, resume, cover letter, age/date of birth, telephone number, citizenship, background check which may include criminal records, employment status and, if you are extended an offer to work with us, your social security number. We will use this information solely to assess your qualifications, to contact you regarding the application process, and to manage your application.
Information Collected From Third-Parties
When you visit our websites, we automatically collect some information about you, including your IP address, browser type, and device used to access our websites. We may receive additional information about you from Google Analytics that can be associated with your IP address, including the pages you visited, how you reached our websites, and demographic information. We use this information to help us better understand how people are accessing our website and to improve our website. How We Share Your Personal Information
We may provide your personal information to third-party service providers that perform business tasks on our behalf, including email marketing providers, payment processors, cloud storage providers, offsite electronic backups, shipping and logistics providers, and other providers of compliance verification, rewards program management, customer relationship management, and enterprise management.
If you are applying for a job with Castle Glen Winery, we may provide your information to travel partners or accommodations providers to facilitate any travel we may ask you to take during the application process. How Long We Keep Your Information
We will keep your personal information for at least as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. If you have an account with us, we will keep your account information for at least as long as your account is open. We may retain your information after the purposes for which it was collected are fulfilled as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect our assets, and enforce our agreements. As a general practice, we will keep your data for seven (7) years after the purpose for which it was collected has been accomplished.
We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. We strive to provide a safe, fun, friendly environment, however the business of agriculture involves heavy equipment and farm implements. Guests are required to follow staff directions at all times. Failure to follow staff directions may result in dismissal from the property.
The property is under 24 hour surveillance both inside and outside of the facility. This is for your protection. Video files will never be published or used outside of training the staff unless we are required to do so by law or in cooperation with law enforcement.
Open carry of firearms is not permitted. Under Virginia Law, you may not conceal carry and consume alcohol. Designated drivers with proper permits may conceal carry. We support the Second Amendment.
